Scarf of 1940s cotton with French fringe and rustic leather slide

A little scarf made with a special vintage cotton fabric.  A document handprint by Greeff circa 1940s, pieced and sewn with visible stitching and mends. Antiqued hues of soft green, ivory, ocher, and brown. The birds, fruits, and flowers are borrowed from a much older textile print. Trimmed in antique French silk fringe on the front. Rustic leather slide with latigo lace. The scarf measures about 52 by 4.5 inches overall.  Wear it on your neck inside your open shirt collar. A unique piece.
