Scarf of two lightweight antique cotton fabrics with art-deco buckle slide

$145.00

A lightweight cotton scarf with a pairing of lovely cotton fabrics dating from the early 1900s. Pieced and sewn with both unfinished and finished edges. The scarf slide is a circa 1920s brass art-deco buckle on warm grey leather. In soft tones of brown, mauve, and teal, the scarf measures about 58 inches overall. The natural creasing of the fabric will add to its charm.

Frequently Asked Questions

Care instructions

JEWELRY: My favorite metal is antiqued brass. All of my jewelry contains some brass, and occasionally sterling silver as well. Over time, some metal elements may develop a deeper tone. A gentle buffing with a jewelry polishing cloth will revive the luster and golden or silver highlights. Lay the piece flat on a towel, secure the metal part firmly with one hand, and buff the surface using gentle pressure.

SCARVES: All of my antique fabrics are laundered before being sewn. The scarves may be hand washed. Use a small amount of mild soap in lukewarm water. Roll in a towel to remove excess water, and dry flat. Press lightly with a warm iron.
