These vintage earring tops are my absolute favorite. The elongated shape and tribal glyphs make them special. The turquoise spikes are formed and color treated, yet, I personally approve--they are a beautiful color with a silky smooth finish. I believe the earring posts are surgical steel. Please note, as they are vintage, the exact metal content of the earring top is unknown.

JEWELRY: My favorite metal is antiqued brass. All of my jewelry contains some brass, and occasionally sterling silver as well. Over time, some metal elements may develop a deeper tone. A gentle buffing with a jewelry polishing cloth will revive the luster and golden or silver highlights. Lay the piece flat on a towel, secure the metal part firmly with one hand, and buff the surface using gentle pressure.
SCARVES: All of my antique fabrics are laundered before being sewn. The scarves may be hand washed. Use a small amount of mild soap in lukewarm water. Roll in a towel to remove excess water, and dry flat. Press lightly with a warm iron.
